Abandoned House

I've been wanting to create another piece for my portfolio but really hadn't had much time to do so nor had the right concept in mind. A couple of weeks back I was playing The Last of Us Part 2 and while playing it came to me, maybe do an abandoned house scene with the game as an inspiration and I did just that. Began to model the scene and block it. The house, the wooden beams, planks, ivy, ferns and tree were all modeled by me. As for the car, the pine tree, the rocks and the tree branches, those were all downloaded using Blenders Sanctuary Add-On. It was my first time using Blender and I took it upon myself to try and compose everything of the scene in just Blender. Some of the materials for the fern and the big tree were done in substance and the sculpts themselves were in Zbrush and Speedtree but everything else was done just in Blender. Any feedback or thoughts are encouraged and welcomed.

Video clip was edited using LumaFusion. A lot of the effects were composited after the render was taken in blender.

Meshes used all throughout the scene. The scene has them spread out and modified slightly to cut away with sameness and save up on poly count. The house was modeled by me, as well as the tree, the ivy and the wooden beams. The other meshes, downloaded.

The ferns were sculpted in Zbrush, textured in Substance painter and created in Maya. I had previously used them in one of my scenes, so I found it fitting to reuse them.

This the atlas I used for the ivy that is scattered around the scene. This is part of a larger atlas of flowers and plants I sculpted on Zbrush. Since the shots of the ivy were from afar, I just used the base color and the normals.
